Ready mixed high-grab tile adhesive

Ultra ProGrip HG High Grab Acrylic Tile Adhesive is a ready mixed, self-priming, high-grab acrylic wall tile adhesive. Ideal for standard and large format ceramic wall tiles, the product is also suitable for use with porcelain mosaics, glass and natural stones.

Ultra ProGrip HG has been specially formulated for its non-slip, high-grab properties, which allow for the speedy application of large format tiles. The product is suitable for intermittently wet conditions, eg. domestic showers, kitchens and bathrooms. It contains an anti-fungal additive, which prevents the build up of mould. It is not recommended for exterior use or areas subject to immersion such as swimming pools.

Note: When using larger format non-porous tiles like porcelains drying times will be substantially increased. In these instances we would recommend the use of a cementitious adhesive.

Preparation

Ensure all areas are clean, dry and free from dust or any other contaminating barriers. Remove any flaking or peeling layers.

How to Step-by-Step

1. Apply adhesive to the surface with a notched trowel.
2. Bed tiles in firmly with a slight twisting action.
3. Clean off excess adhesive from the tile face with a damp cloth and rake excess from the grout lines before it sets.
4. Leave for a minimum of 24 hours before grouting.

Cleaning

Tools should be thoroughly cleaned in water to remove excess materials immediately after use.
