How to Step-by-Step

1. Ensure that walls are free of anything which will stop the slurry sticking, like paint, varnish, oils or other finishes. Remove by grinding or paint stripping.
2. Prime the walls and floor with Kiesol.
3. Open the bag of slurry and mix the powder with water using a drill and whisk ...then brush onto the surfaces.
4. To get the best result, after applying the first coat you should apply a cove or fillet of waterproofing filler into all corners where you have a wall:wall or wall:floor junction.  These are the most likely areas to leak and this fillet helps to plug these areas fully.  Have a look at it being done it the waterproofing brochure.
5. Once touch dry, you should apply a second and even a 3rd coat of freshly mixed material to complete the job.
