Epoxy Damp Proof Membrane

If you are looking for a really versatile epoxy, the Remmers Epoxy FAS 100 is a good choice. It quite literally sticks to anything – underwater repairs, oily or damp surfaces, ceramic and terrazzo tiles - the whole lot. Epoxy FAS 100 contains special adhesion promoters which makes it perfect as a primer when you are wanting to paint or stick to a 'dodgy' surface.

And what's more, it makes a great damp barrier!

Epoxy FAS 100 is transparent with a straw coloured tint, this epoxy resin, once mixed, hardens to a super-tough finish which sticks to all sorts of troublesome surfaces.

The bond is so strong that you will destroy the surface to remove it. At room temperature it hardens after 4-5 hours to give a final bond after a few more hours which is almost impossible to break.

What you can use it for:
  • floor primer and sealer
  • crack and void filler
  • fast cure epoxy clear coating
  • laminating resin (use with glass fibre)
  • damp-proof barrier
  • sealer on oily floor patches ( some oil, not loads and loads!)
  • stop damp damaging wooden floors
  • garage floor primer before painting
  • use on tiles, damp and 'dodgy' surfaces
  • fill with dry sand to make a repair mortar

Besides using it as a primer you can fill with dry quartz sand to make a repair mortar or a levelling layer for rougher floors which need to be levelled before coating.

It cures within 4 hours.

DIY Energy Saving Product

'Scotchguard' masonry walls and reduce heat lost through them by up to 30%.

What is Remmers Facade Cream?
Remmers Facade Cream or Remmers Funcosil FC (Facade Cream) is a waterproofing cream which can be applied invisibly over your brickwork and masonry.

How does Remmers Facade Cream save energy?
Remmers Facade Cream reduces the heat lost through your walls and a dry brick conducts just 30% of the heat lost through a damp brick.

How is it applied?
Easy to apply, hand cream consistency waterproofing and energy loss reduction product for use on:
  • brick
  • stone
  • render
  • pebbledash
  • concrete
  • ...most types of external wall!
Apply by brush or roller to the wall, allow to penetrate (this takes about an hour) and the cream soaks in to makes your walls waterproof to even the most driving rain.

One 5 litre bucket is normally enough to treat 20-25mtr sq (250 sq ft) of walls. This will depend on the roughness of the surface and how porous your wall is.

Over the coming months your walls will continue to dry out and become increasingly better at insulating you from heat loss. This gives you an amazing reduction in heat loss through the walls and thus savings in fuel useage and heating costs.

The product is non toxic, safe and even helps reduce future growth of algae and lichen on your walls as there is not enough water available for them to grow!

If you would like to see a short film (only 2 minutes) of the product being applied, click here to see the facade cream movie.
