Remmers Super Tough Epoxy Floor Paint, Epoxy BS3000

What does it do?

This is a roller applied epoxy floor and wall coating with a silk gloss finish. It bonds permanently, colours, protects and waterproofs. Use it on concrete, screed, wooden floors, in garages, factories, on tarmac to mark disabled bays, on walls, in fact anywhere you need a tough coloured resin finish.

How does it compare to other products on the market?

You cannot find a better product for the price. It is easy to use (water based) but tougher than many spirit based or ‘solvent free’ epoxies. You can use this on almost any surface, probably with the exception of glass and GRP.

Is it good value for money?

Any colour you like (choose it from the charts) in 24 hours with no extra cost... you decide.

How much does it cover?

  • A 5kg can will cover up to 25m2 on smooth surfaces.
  • A 10kg can will go up to 50m2 on smooth surfaces.
  • We recommend 2 or 3 coats to get the best finish.
  • You will need a new can for each coat – once mixed you cannot ‘save it’ for later as it reacts to form a super tough epoxy structure.

How to Step-by-Step

  1. remove loose coatings and dust from the floor – sanding or grinding is best
  2. open both the resin (the coloured liquid) and the hardener (the smaller tin with the white liquid)
  3. pour the little tin into the big one
  4. mix with drill and paddle (link to these in shop)
  5. apply by roller to the floor. Discard any mixed but unused material.
  6. allow to harden before trafficking
