RAL Colours

RAL is a colour matching system used in Europe. In colloquial speech RAL refers to the RAL CLASSIC system, mainly used for varnish and powder coating.

Which blue do you mean if you ask for sky blue for your epoxy floor? How can we make it absolutely clear which colour shade we really mean? This requires a common language which you can use to describe the exact colour you mean.

Fo almost 80 years, RAL has answered that question to ensure accurate desciption of colour worldwide: Colour define colour shades and give them definite number and names. This orders 100 approximate shades of blue into exactly 23 definite blue shades meeting the RAL CLASSIC standards, eg. RAL 5015 sky blue.

These are understandable for everyone and provide reliable orientation - and RAL 5015 sky blue is exactly the same colour shade all over the world and DIYsupermarket.com will supply you with the correct colour!
